FinalCutHub publishes guidance researched from current documentation and authoritative sources. We do not install software or run the workflows, exports, presets, projects, or benchmarks described in our articles.

How we use external test results

When we cite independent testing, we identify who performed it, the applicable versions and configuration, and the conditions or methodology that matter to the conclusion. We attribute measurements and observed outcomes to that source; they are never presented as our own results. Opening a menu or capturing a screen does not by itself prove that an export or recovery workflow succeeded.

Current-version policy

Articles are prepared for the current applicable release on the date of research. Before public release, current Final Cut Pro, macOS, Motion, Compressor, plugin, and platform facts are checked again against primary sources.

One Mac or project cannot prove universal compatibility. Independent test conclusions apply to their stated configurations and conditions.

Documented software guidance

Our software explanations use applicable documentation and attributed external evidence. They must:

  • identify relevant versions, platforms, and limitations;
  • use primary documentation for capability claims;
  • support performance, quality, or reliability comparisons with applicable attributed evidence;
  • distinguish documented facts from editorial recommendations;
  • use visuals to explain the task without presenting them as observed test results.

Images and diagrams

Original FinalCutHub visuals explain documented controls, structures, decisions, and expected states. They do not provide evidence that a workflow was run or a result was observed.

Safety

Guides involving deletion, relinking, moving libraries, updates, or file replacement begin with a backup or copy when appropriate. A procedure remains unpublished when its risk cannot be bounded or a critical step or safety condition cannot be supported by reliable evidence.
